Here is Sara's completed project on Responsibility. She created her glog after interviewing her classmates, friends, and family. I think you will agree she did an amazing job! Then, she presented it to our class. We got the chance to ask her questions. Sara was well prepared and we are so proud of her!

Connecting with Skype!
This week our class connected with two other classrooms via video conferencing with Skype! On Wednesday, we connected with Mrs. Cunningham's 3-7th graders in Colorado. We checked out their blogs, and left them comments. We introduced ourselves and talked about the difference in weather! Next, we talked with Mrs. Huebner's 5th grade class located in a rural community in Iowa. Most of the students there live on farms with cows, pigs, and chickens. We could see fields of corn outside their classroom window! So now, we just love corn and cows! We are pretty popular too because we live so close to Disneyland! Both classes we Skyped with are reading Tuck Everlasting along with us and about 1000 other students from all over the world! Here are some pictures from the call to Colorado.

Here, we are checking out their blog before we met them!
This is when we first connected with them.
Can you tell we had a great time?

What does Responsibility mean to you?
Our class Ambassador for the month of September is Sara. She is responsible for a presentation about the value "Responsibility". To help her out with ideas, we brainstormed about what it means to be responsible. The results are below on our Voicethread.
