Sign of the Beaver

We finished reading Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare last week. The students made scrapbooks for our final project. For one of the pages, our class created a group Tagxedo about the book. Here it is! We hope you like it!

Self Control Glogsters for December's Value of the Month

Here are the completed Glogs for Self-control by Youssef and Omar S.  They are the ambassadors for the month of December.  Both scholars presented their glogsters in class, then answered questions from their classmates about the topic.  Our class discussed how self control is more than just resisting the urge to goof around in class, or waiting patiently for your turn. It is also something we must aspire to achieve our whole life long to avoid the temptations out there that try to divert us from being the best we can be!  We hope you enjoy them!

Self Control: Value of the Month

Our class is collecting other's opinions and beliefs about self control.  Why is it an important value?  Please add your response to our Wallwisher below.  Our ambassadors for the month of December (yes, we are getting a head start since the winter holiday will be here before we know it!), Omar S. and Youssef would like to hear your comments.  Thanks!

Thankfulness Presentations

Two students, Mohamed and Abdulkareem volunteered to be the ambassadors to this month's value, Thankfulness. Each scholar interviewed their classmates, family members and friends about what thankfulness means to them or how they show that they are thankful all year long. I hope you enjoy their presentations!

Thankfulness: November's Value of the Month

Please help Abdulkareem and Mohamed, our ambassadors for Thankfulness, brainstorm all the things we should be thankful for.  These should be things we are thankful for not only during this month, but every day!

US Regions Animoto Projects

In partners, students researched and reported on different US regions. Here is the fruit of their labor. I think you will agree these are nicely done! Enjoy!
